First one of the year

Post by hoss7 »

First kill of the year and my sons first fox! Hopefully I will be able to post a few pics of myself with some critters, but I don't seem to be able to aim real straight. Guess I'll have to let my hounds catch and take credit for that.

My son just turned 20. The chase was about 2 hours in a big rolling section. The snow was so hard from the rain a couple weeks ago that the dogs were having a tough time. My son was in the middle of the sectionfor 1-1/2 hours in below zero weather. He stated a couple of times that it was cold out there but he warmed up real fast when he started shooting. Never weighed the fox but the tanner said it was one of the biggest he's seen. Good luck to all of you and if we can get a little fresh snow I'll hopefully have some more pics for ya!
