Dogs caught two today

well we got ten inches of fresh snow the other night and i got up at five to look for tracks. Found one at six oclock and cut my 18 month old walker female and my thirteen month old male walker that is really starting to turn it on. Well they had it jumped in about four hundred yards and about a hundred yards later it was over. They showed treed on the garmin and I started walking in. Well they had the coyote bayed up and I walked in and shot it. It was a nice male with only three legs. Good start back to the truck a half hour after I turned out. Drove around for about two hours and found another track. Cut my other good with the two young ones and they had it jumped quick and were really singing. We hoped into the truck and cut down to the next road. Just in time to see the coyote coming across a field for the road. My buddies wanted to shoot it but I told them to let the dogs catch it. Well it came right by the truck and all three dogs were right behind it. We hoped in the truck again and before we hit the next road they showed treed on the garmin. We walked in and they had the coyote pinned down right in the water of a creek. I took a few picks. not very often you have a two races end in under fourty five min. start to finish. The second coyote was a nice heavy female.
