Collared lion from Colorado?

Post by Benny G »

Does anyone know of a study going on, or recently gone on that involved GPS collaring of a large tom in SE Colorado?

Acouple years back a trapper took a collared Lynx in West central Alberta that was from a Colorado study ...I'm missing a big tom from up here and from what we have been finding with lion movements....nothing would surprise me!!!!!! Send him back up this way !!!
Likely a cat from down that area, I'd be interested to know how far from the capture location is has gone so far.

Provided quite A few Lynx to the outfit you are talking about. And yeah they bout shut down for two weeks due to that long legged bugger. Puts A whole new meaning to sitting round and saying what is impossible...

We caught this tom back in 04, He was from southern WY. We caught him 200 yards south of I-70. You can see he has a transmitter in his right ear.
