tri-tronics question

Post by Kenneth »

Has anyone else had this happen? One of the small plastic loops on the side of one of my EXP receivers broke. It's the area where the collar goes through on the side (not on the battery portion). Is there any way to fix it short of gobbing it up with all kinds of mickey mouse fixes, or is it something that I can send into the factory to fix/replace? Thanks.

I had the same thing happen the last few months. Seems the plastic gets brittle after they reach a certain age. I just used electrical tape around the unit over the top of those loops. That has worked for some time now, however, I'll be sending them off this week. They stopped working altogether. I believe it's the remote. I'm going to have all repairs done at the same time.

Send it in to tri Tronics they'll fix those for Free. Or they might send you the Parts to you so you can fix it. I don't know if they sent them to me because I'm a Dealer or not.

I have some spares that I try to keep around here for Local customers.

If you can't get it taken care of Give me a Shout.

Buddy,

Thanks for the info. I just got done sending a message to tri-tronics. If it doesn't work out, I'll get in touch with you.

Shorty,

I'll use your idea for the time being. At least it will work for a while.

Ya Keneth they worked fine that way. I likely would have kept using them that way had they not shut down on me.
