Bearhunter,
I do not work for fish and game nor am I a Bunnyhugger.I hunt and fish and spend more time in the outdoors than most. The fact that this person was on private property and didn't belong there makes big difference,it should of been noted in the forum.I had two dogs killed because of similar circumstances. However because someone doesn't agree with the way you think, they are anti hunting. So here you go and anyone else who wants to put me in that category. My phone # is 970.554.0560.I'll be more than happy to talk, debate or anything else you wish to do.But don't put me in a category of a bunny hugger or any other anti-hunting circle.I've helped people on this board I don't know and there are people who know me.And if that's the way it is here, someone doesn't agree with your point of view. You can shove this forum up your ass.-Shawn

Whats wrong with hugging bunnies. They're cute and cuddly. And when they crinkle their nose up when they are nibbling on a piece of grass they're just the cutest little things.

That they are but add some salt a little pepper rub on some sage and cook at 350 for 1.5 hrs and they are really cute. As for the bunny/tree huggers and other low life scum bag anti hunters might try 450 for 3 hrs and lots more pepper. For the ones on here that think its wrong to block the road while this man or anyone else picks up there dogs thats your right to think that way. Its my right to block the road and pick my dogs up and I will do just that. Happy hunting to you all.

The point is that road is yours and mine and that jack wipe who drove around him we own it we pay to maintain it with our tax money. We need to share it but if that means you have to wait 30 sec while I make sure my dogs, cows, or kids are safe then so be it. Thats life welcome to PUBLIC land.
Before you start talking to much about "rights" you probably ought to check your facts. Public road does NOT equal public land. For instance, there is a public road across my private property. Although the road is public, the land is still privately owned, there is just a public easement which gives the public the right to drive across my private land. The public easement does not give you the right to stop for any reason. Technically I can charge you for trespass if you even stop to take a leak.

I think you are the one that needs to check the facts. You can stop on a public right of way any time you feel the need. It would be the discretion of an officer and potentially a decision by a judge that determines if it is blocking the right of way. And a trespassing ticket for a publicly maintained road....Really, do you honestly think you have personal control over a publicly maintained road? No way mister, your most definitely confused.

Who cares? Just do whatever keeps your dogs safe and everyone else stop acting like a bunch of girls.

I don't know for sure, but I thought the speed limit on forest service roads was 25...I have seen rigs doing over 70...makes me nervous roading dogs but its hard to keep them in shape without doing it. I would block the road for sure to protect my dogs and fight it if I got a ticket. People shouldn't be in such a hurry that they can't slow down/stop for a second and let me get my dogs to safety...I do it all the time with ranchers cows and think nothing of it.
