Trouble stayin logged in

Was wondering if it just my computer or if every has this problem but when i'm on this site it wants to keep logging out on me expecilly when i go to post somthing it goes to the login page 75% of the time any help would be apreciated Thanks

It's not just you, but unfortunately I can't see or figure out the Problem. I've gotten a couple requests about this and I can't see the problem.


Can you Try this.. "log me on automatically" When you sign in.. then when your done Log out manually.. can you tell me if that works or helps?



For everyone that is having this problem If you could send me a couple things It might help me figure this out.

#1 what windows operating system are you on
# What Browser are you using, and what version of the browser. (You can find the browser version by clicking Help, and then the bottom about XXX "internet explorer, or firefox or what ever)
#3 how do you get online, DSL, cable, Dial up, Cell phone, or Satelite.

Yea I think that might be the issue, I've looked at yours along with two others that have recently been complaining about the same issue. It looks as if all of you guys are using Dynamic IP addresses(this isn't something I would expect you to know).. when means you are hitting the server with different IP addresses.

This leads to a question, How are you getting online.
Are getting on you wireless?
and who do you pay to get to the internet. Phone company for DSL, TV company for Cable, cell phone company for cellular. etc. etc.

right now I think I have the server checking this on all cookies and making it check them with IP address, Basically it's a Security issue. but your IP addresses may be changing, and this is what causes the website to boot you.

Try the automatic Log in button when you first sign in and see if that helps any. After that I may try and find that setting and see if I can disable it to test it out and then I'll have to make a judgement between easy of use and security which is never a fun choice...

I know there is more than one person out there.. Please let me know if it's working now.. (I"m crossing my fingers since I'm just shooting in the dark and hoping to hit something, Especially since I can't see or verify the problem.!)

FYI to others that were having this problem, I've done some more changes just now..

I've emailed a couple others that were having the same issue to ask them to try it... You guys have caused me allot of hair pulling and headaches.. But I think it might be figured out now! And the best part was I didn't have to pay $125 an hour for a system admin to figure it out for me, I've been dreading calling in the big dogs on this problem but was getting pretty close since I had a handful of folks that were asking about it.

You guys might not realize this but I'm way over my Head with this server..

Buddy mine seems to be working, but just as soon as I tell you that it starts booting me off again. lol I use Sat.

Devin, Clear your cache and cookies. Most everyone is reporting the issue fixed.

In a While I'm going to tighten the server back up until it breaks, then I'll back it off a click or two until you guys aren't having the issues.. That way I'll balance the security with not giving you guys too much headache.

The issue is only with folks using Satellite, or Wireless (Not Home Wifi)

I have done that and it only helps for a little while then goes back to the same ol. Remember us folks that don't live in the city and can't plug into the local cable company.lol

I am on Satellite and thought it was just something I would have to live with... so I hope you fixed it too. Its super annoying to write a big post and have it go poof. But I got smart and made a copy and cut and past so I could post faster before getting kicked off.

Had a busy day today but can't post the pictures until the media release. Got some nice ones and hopfully can post them in a few days
