Here this year we were hunting with ol boone and another guy that has boones dogs, Well we started a track and turned dogs out some of the dogs went one way and treed and 1 of the others went another. i went to get closer to them and i found the single treed i jumped out of my truck and went down the hill and she was locked up right there. well the bear got a little brave and came out this little female jumped up and grabbed this bear by the butt and they went to rolling around on the ground right there at my feet. For a good few all i could do was yell at my buddies to bring me a gun. I thought for sure this was gonna get ugly fast. Well after the fight the bear gave up and went down the canyon and treed the female has few scarrs and is still a awesome dog.

By the time we got back from that tree boone called on the radio and said you boys up for another walk and we said why not well get over here we got another strike. Lord did we make our bed that day. we were wore out after after that.


Boone is a amazing gentleman. He has my upmost respect and a mentor in what i like to do.He has shown me alot and always will have my respect.I have tagged along with this guy for 17 years now and always remember when alot of the hunts we have done.
