5 yote weekend, 3 red colored

we had a good weekend taking 5 coyotes, 3 of the were red color phased. the only one not pictured was a great looking regular yote with alot of nice white marking that went straight to the taxidermist.

Those are some real nice looking dogs. Whats the breeding on them? Did you shoot all those coyotes ahead of the dogs or catch some of them?

the breeding is my line, i guess. i`ve been breeding redbones for 30 yrs. they go back mostly to mt.view and brunswick littleman. we shoot 4 and they hounds caught 1. we never run more that 2-3 hounds at a time, mostly just 1. the one we did catch only 1 hound was running him.

yes, i also run a few of them on bear. the one on the far left is my best hound, he treed 9 bears last season all be himself, 26 total.

KC, 26 is darn good for the short training season you have. I have a couple of red pups I'm excited about. The one pup got to see 5 or 6 bears last fall but he was only 5 mths old. He loved chewing on them, so this summer will tell the tale!!
