Wildlife Materials TRX-64 battery

Post by Paul Conway »

I'm looking for a replacement battery for my TRX-64 which was discontinued years ago by WM. Nothing on thier site or collar clinic in terms of replacement batteries. I am going to call wildlife and collar clinic and speak to them of course, but does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement battery for th TRX 64? The last place I saw one advertised was on Wick's Outdoor Works before they went out of business. Thanks Paul Conway

Paul, I replaced all the batteries in my TRX64 last year. I simply opened it up and replaced the original batteries with some good 2600 mHa rechargeable batteries. They last 10 times as long also and you recharge them the same as you always did.

I might be able to help you out. My TRX 10 box went out a couple of years ago so I bought a new reciever. Anyway, last summer I got a wild hair and decided to tear my old TRX apart to fix it and maybe put it up for sale. There was some corrosion on the battery so I ordered a new one. Needless to say, that wasn't the problem. So I still have an old broken down receiver but with a new battery.

Tell you what, if it'll work, and I'm pretty sure it will, you pay the postage and it's yours.

Hey thanks for the replies guys. Kevin, PM sent. I didn't think about replacing them myself, if Kevin's won't work for mine, I'll be looking at replacing the batteries myself. Thanks folks. Keystonepaul
