They are looking at changing the start of the hound season in 11 and 11a to start December 1st.

How about some input from you guys that hunt those units, is a change needed? How hard is it to find a cat? A mature tom? I don't mind helping you guys down there influence the decision but need to know what you think. I am very cautious about asking them to take our kill season away but sometimes change is what's needed.

There is enough lions to chase especially if you aren't out to kill one. They want to shorten our opportunity so as not to conflict with their resent lengthen of the deer season in these units which I feel with over time lower the quality of bucks. Regardless of your opinion I think anyone should weigh in.
