Just to throw a little fuel on the fire. Anybody want to watch it "roughin it outdoors" saturday night after the news chan 2.
Gonna air a lion hunt with one of utahs outfitters. Wonder how this will go???

I am from Beaver, I live in Lehi for the time being but I still hunt down there about every other week. Sad to say but most could care less about any of it. There are so many young kids with pups trying to chase lions down there that it rivals utah county in terms of the percentage of trucks with dog boxes in the back. I do know the locals that had tags were tagged out before the HO opened and not one female was killed that I Know of and some pretty nice toms were taken. I would put my money on it that two outfitters are responsible for the majority of the over kill. I dont know how much help we got from the other side of the mountain but if its like it has been for the last 15 yrs. there are a few guys trying to make a living and doing whatever it takes to make the mortgage payment this month yet slitting their throat and everybody elses in the process. Alot of deer hunters hunting lions if you know what I mean.
