garmin 320

I was going to purchase the garmin system next month but just read an article on the new garmin 320. It is suposed to be based on the garmin oregon series gps system with touch screen and 3d mapping ability.Has anyone else heard anything about this and does anyone know when it will be released?dont want to buy the 220 then have it obsolete before next year plus i like the oregon series gps so really would like to get one. the article said garmin will be selling the new system for around the same price as the dc40-220 system and the 220 system would lower to the current price of the dc30-220 system. thanks for any help, Ken

Hi Ken, I believe Buddy was told it looked like August give or take for the 320's to come out. One issue is that the DC40's have had some reliablity issues for some folks and many would rather the DC30's than 40's. They have stopped production of the DC30's so once the supply is gone all that will be left will be the DC40's. If i was going to buy one I would buy however many DC30 collars I need now, and then when they come out, either buy a 320 by itself or the DC40 combo with the intetion of selling the DC40 and recouping some of my money- whichever way I felt would end up with the lowest cost for the 320.
