MULTIPLE DOG TIE OUT LINE???
Tell me about or show me how you tie out your hounds on overnight hunting trips. I am looking to make something that will handle 10 dogs. Thanks.
Re: MULTIPLE DOG TIE OUT LINE???
I use a light long cable with 2to 3 foot cable leads to tie the dogs to. They sleep on the ground. In cold weather they just stay in the dog box 7 or 8 do fine there. For 3 or 4 months in the winter they spend 80% of there time in a box or on game. Dewey

We use a long chain with 1 - 2 foot droppers ( chain ) with dog clips on each. As long as you need. Clips at each end of chain to go around tree or bull bar.

Kinda similar to above post but I use a long chain and then just hook the dogs to it. I string it between some trees.

I tie mine on a highline just as the horses. Just lower to the ground. Works very well. They have freedom to move, yet don't get tangled up. If a highline is horse proof, then its anything proof.LOL

I have exactly the same thing that Muddy said earlier. If it is too cold they can stay in the box.
Re: MULTIPLE DOG TIE OUT LINE???
I chain mine also but I have a stake with a swivel at one end so I only need one tree and in a pinch I just hook it to my trailer hitch.

Re: MULTIPLE DOG TIE OUT LINE???
I have two 4 dog chains . if u have a lot of room i put them together and if its tight i can seperate them. each dog has a 3 ft chain so they have a little room to move around and you can keep them on it for a good period of time if u are hunting them and not feel to bad. i just made 3 ft rebar stakes that drive in to each end to hold it so the national forest cant say u are hurting the trees.
