Sportdog Tek 1.0lt GPS/shock collar

New in July 2011 Sportdog is coming out with a GPS/remote traiin collar combo. It's very low profile collar with a 20 hour charge. It also offers an incredible 7 mile range on the shock collar. The retail is $699 for a one dog system and $199 fo each additional collar. You can add up to 12 collars.

I just seen them in the new Lion Country Supply catalog. After reading about them I to was going to put something on here about them. Sure cant wait till they are out and see what the guys think about them. The 7 mile range for shocking is amazing if it really works. Not that I would want to shock my dogs at that range but sure would be nice to be able to tone them and call them off. Its also nice to see some new GPS stuff coming out maybe someday we will be able to use here in this state of ours.

The biggest fault on those in my opinion is not having maps. At least that's what they told me.

7 miles is a long ways and probably even longer if there isn't any maps.
