FINALLY GOT MY BLUETICK

Post by dustinFLA »

Well it's been 26 days since I first posted about gettin my first hound gip and I finally got her today. Now I have never owned a hound or been around one for that matter but I gotta say I dont know if I have ever seen a prettier dog than a bluetick. I tried to upload some pics but it said that the file was too big and I'm not the best when it comes to understanding computers and how to fix problems on them. This may be a stupid question but do blueticks get to be pretty big dogs? Cuz I was told she was only 6 months but she looks pretty big.

Depends on the blood line, I have seen them small, medium, and quite large. I got two pups that are 3/4 Cameron and 1/4 Smokey River, they turned a year old yesterday, and both of them are well above 70 pounds and dont have a ounce of fat on them. I have to agree with you, no other hound in my opinion, even compares in looks as a good looking Bluetick. Congradulations on your dog!!!

Thank u sir. Yeah I see, the kicker on her bloodline is that I got her from a friend of a friend that say's her parents are registered but she never got my gip registered. Sounds fishy but maye not. I want to try and get her registered but I have a feeling that it's gonna be a headache in doing so. Is it worth it to try and get it done?
