Re: DC 30 REPAIR
Only Garmin does repairs. At least beyond the collars, antennas, and batteries you can do yourself.

Thanks Steve, I guess Buddy is gone on vacation. I have a collar that the switch is not working. I thought it would be simple enough to repair, but I guess not.

Re: DC 30 REPAIR
No vacations here! Rented an escalator for the weekend, Those things are excellent at finding and breaking buried water lines.
Anyways, If it's out of warranty I can take a look at it, if it's in warranty I wouldn't mess with it.
I would hate to see you pay 90 something dollars for a switch, I could check the switch and if it was a faulty switch I might be able to Replace it,
I'd have to take a look at it and try and see if I could figure out what's wrong.

Sheesh, and here I thought escaltors were from going from one floor to another. Who knew you could dig up water lines with them.
Don't buy the hype.

Re: DC 30 REPAIR
Haha that was pretty funny. Anyone have any trouble with the DC40's? I know Ive heard mixed reviews but my brother got me one a 2 or 3 months back and the damn thing was working great, got a little longer rance then my DC30 but then it just crapped out? Replaced the battery and that wasnt it? Did something fry on it or whats the deal? It wont turn on is the problem so Im not sure whats going on. I know this is a DC30 topic and I dont want to hijack the post but if anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks, Jarred

Re: DC 30 REPAIR
A DC40 would still be under warranty, Send it back and get it fixed.

Re: DC 30 REPAIR
Send it to Garmin? And if so do you know the address or who to contact? How long does the warranty last?
