I bought a finished dog from Van picked her up today. It was great sitting and talking with him. All the great hunting stories some funny some sad but all just down right good to listen to. Van raised this dog from a pup she is now 8 years old. i needed a dog to teach me and my young hounds to hunt. Now I have a great one this dog came highly recommended by several people. Just wanted to say I am really excited to get out there and really start hunting with her. I have 2 pups from Van's old blue dogs that Trevor Meiner has and I also have to walker yearlings that I got from Mr. PocoJack that seem like they aare going to be good dogs.
With a dog like Freckles to train the bunch don't see How I can go wrong. If you don't know Van he is a great guy and a great story teller. Just thought I would share the good news.

Grats buddy, I have known Van most of my life and I can honestly say he is a great guy and one hell of a hunter!!
One day dad and I drove by Vans and decided to stop and Trevor was there and we all ate frog legs and talked dogs, it is really an honor to be around the hound doggers that have been doing it for so long and have built their own reputation!

Van is a great guy and has great dogs u will have a lot of fun to have a vetran dog like that around. Sounds like u got some good dogs from Devin he has a lot of good ones also. Happy huntin!!!
