From what I gathered from him when I talked to him a while ago it was a lot of his own breeding but he started 20-30 years ago with some stuff from Weems' Butch and Jill, as well as some other stuff he thought would help out.

The thing about Mr. Mundy is he runs with his dogs every day to keep them in shape, and he used them on the lion study on the Uncompadre year round, so I don't think if you mind them not being registered they will get the job done. He hunts of mules and they have no problem hanging with the other dogs on the study. But you will need to call him to verify what they can do.
