Thanks for the reply!I have a 94lbs male.Big and houndy, huge mouth and seems to have great foot speed.Cold nosed and handels a track well. This is going to be his first bear season.I've run bears almost all my life, just never with a dog of this size. He's tight for his size and seems to have endurance enough, just wanting some more feed back on this strain of dogs. The father is a 60lb dog that I've owned all his life and is a tremedous coon dog.The mother was a all-blue female about 70-75 lbs that had some older blood.(Mohawk breeding).I'm assume'n thats where it comes from.Handels well for his size and is running and treeing coons. This is going to be his first bear season.Hope'n his size serves him well.....

Thanks Shawn,
This is a differant then all i've strived for,for the past 26 years.I've always bred for tight, streamlined, smaller style hounds. This Male I've mentioned has really impressed me with his ability to get gone and stay.Seems to have great nose/foot speed as well.I'm really like'n his style too.Nose to spare with all the drive of a smaller hound.Handels like a dream too.Good thing
He's getting his first bear season put on him this year so time will tell. Thanks for the reply!!!!!!!
