Riggin for lions

I am having good sucess with may walker rigging for lions and bobs.But she is young and still a little gamey.I dont know if I shood shock or not because of how well she is doing.Any advice/tips

This is my thoughts on it.. Take them how you want

If she is rigging successfully on lion/bobs AND off game then it is time for some correction.. If she is just rigging lion/bobs, I personally would leave her alone until she starts messing with off game.. And I do mean a confirmed strike and run.. Since rigging bobs can be one of the slowest days in your life..

If she is messing (rigging) off game as well as the lion, I would set her up a few times.

We had a couple young dogs at one point who would rig elk as much as bear or lion.. We just hung a couple elk glands up in a tree and started giving lessons... Didn't take too long before they go the idea...

I reckon if you got a young dog that is rigging lion on a regular basis in the Ely Nevada area, you best let her have fun and run and elk or two now and then cuz you migh thave found the goose that laid the golden egg.

that is awesome, how many cats have you rigged AND caught?
We drove around at night with my fatherinlaws ol buster dog rigged up and he struck a bobcat so we let go on the track. That cat went into a nasty rock pile and we never did find him.This was on dry ground a year ago near Carlin Nv.Good luck

We have gone truck to tree now on two of the bobcat tracks kate has rigged.One was hot and in the snow, the other was a day or so in the dirt.She has struck on several more that were not turned out on.I have A redtick that works the bare ground like a pro but this walker loves hunting off the rig.She trys like hell ad soon as you get her up on the box.But like i said cats are not the only things she hits.I think a tritronics lesson will correct this.Thanks for your advice everyone.
