Right, I know that the blue/silver can come from just one parent. Didn't know that about the nose though.. Because I have no idea, when the dilutes come through like that is it generally one gender? I had 4 out of 9 come out that color, all males. And the brown/chocolate nose only came out in the ones with the gray. None of the females have that.
bigmikeslures- Thanks.. All of my dogs off that bloodline have lighter color eyes.. They all run about golden instead of brown. All the males off that litter though got those yellow eyes.

The nose color matches the coat. If they have that nose color thier coat matches, vice versa. You can't have a dilute with a black nose. Now the color is different than a grey or merle(sp?) coat like Leopards, they can have a black nose. But true washed out dilutes, that come from close breeding, and no mix breeding, that are just a variation of black, do not have black anywhere, everything is washed out. Including eyes. Light coat = light eyes. It is somewhat a weakening of the gene. In the APBT's it comes in hand with lots of skin issues. My mom's blue dogs always seemed to carry a much darker eye (like they should have) than other peoples blues. They bred for the color so much without regaurds of anything else they just washed out to anything.
It has nothing to do with gender. I think that you just happened to get all males that color! The red gene like Jack and them is a void of all black. It's like Albino, almost, not quite as strong I guess cause they do have some pigment. I haven't really looked into Albanisim (sp?) but I would say they are very close linked. Being void of that black gene your dogs can throw an Albino. Heavy bred Rednose APBT's throw solid white/non pigmented pups. But unlike the washed out silver/blue, two dogs like Jack bred together can throw all regular tri/black nosed pups. Think of it like this, once the color is washed out, you cant get it back, but the red isn't really washed out, its just a morphed color, not faded, but changed all together. Strange, I know.

Them glowing red is a sign of them not having any black pigment, if I can remember correctly. I gotta go dig up that magazine I had with all the color/genetic info.
Sweet.. I will be busy for a while.. Thanks Interesting on the eyes. I am going to have to go shine them. I want to say that Bruiser's blue eye glows red.. But maybe it is not that creepy red like Jack's.. More predetor red..

Oh, looked at his eyes this morning the light yellow, then gray then black.. About 95% sure they are black pupils.. Going to ask Nick for his opinion if I see him before dark tonight..

Ok so now I have been watching as the black blanket backs eyes start from dark blue to brown ...Normal.
But the gray pups are still gray but thier eyes have gone from dark blue to bright blue.
Very cool looking.
And yes, I'm sure of breeding. These are pure walkers.
Wow, that's gonna be one cool looking bunch when they get big.
Are you still interested in possibly trading pups? I have a little female here I'd be willing to swap. I think I'd want a black pup though. How old are they now?
Hi, they are seven weeks old.
Sure we just have to get the p-pappers in order.
Were you looking to trade female for female?
Oh yeah, I will take them to the vet next week and have them gone over real well.
I will PM you.
Mike
Mine will be 7 weeks old on Saturday (the 22nd)
I should be getting the papers back shortly, I sent them off a week or two ago. I was planning to keep the female, and sent off for her perm papers, but she looks too much like her Mom! I have the two littermates to the mom, and the mom, don't really need another! I like males, and am keeping one. I have too many sets of littermates right now, everything s related.
All my pups are microchipped, have been wormed twice, and will be done once more, have one shot at 8 weeks, and an exam (I work at a Vets office)
It don't matter to me male or female. I actually don't care what color either, black or silver. Do all of the silver pups have blue eyes, or do any of them have darker eyes? I'd like to talk to you more about pedigree's on them as well.
