i need some ideas for a rigging rack. i have a extra tall owens diamond plat dog box with top storage and the way the box is set up the storage is shorter than the box and plus i think it would be way to tall to be on the box. i was thinking about building something out of aluminum or steel square tubing and while i was at it i was thinkn about making some kind of water tank under it. i hunt jagd terriers so i can't just let em stand in the bed there to short. the only other option is on the hood.

give me some of ur opinions i might be cheaper to run off the hood

Get some taller dogs, Just kidding man.

Weld some rails with eyes on it around the edge of the storage part or just put eye bolts through the top of the storage and seal them up good, look through the dog box threads to get ideas and adjust the height of the rails for a terrier. It aint rocket science its just hunting dogs

Or better yet just let em rig out the window from your lap lol

run 'em off the hood...anybody know how much one of those hood rugs is? or where to get 'em?

There'a a guy or two in N. Ca. that makes the hood rugs and I think they get 100-150 bucks depending on what it's for. I don't have their info tho but maybe someone else will.

So you want ideas for a rig rack that doesnt go on top of the box? As for hood rugs I herd franks upolstery in redding ca is the way to go just google that he has a web site. My rig rack is pretty simple if you have a welder its steel and i put a rubber mat under it for the dogs and to seal out the water i drilled 1/4 holes through the top of the box.
