Looking for running Dogs

Post by Kursch Walkers »

I am looking for a young started dog or pup. Must come from stock that is cold nosed jump dogs. I am looking for a pup that I can train to be my jump dog someday. I am new to the sport of running yotes with hounds but not at all new to hunting with hounds been a coon hunter for many years.

Got a female that I would do some trading on. She has a big mouth and is paid up in performance and hunts fall 11,12,13 superstakes. She has not been fooled with much at all bred real nice as you can see. Her Dam only needs two wins. I am asking $450 for her got way more than invested in her.

Liquor bred runnig Walkers
Guys, I have about 10 dogs that are ready for new homes! I raise 1 or 2 litters a year and enjoy getting them started on coyotes. This strain of dog I am raising seems to have very good Noses with exceptional speed. They may lack a little on the grit end of it, but many of my past customers tell me their dogs have and do kill coyotes by them selves. I am advertising them as a little short on grit. I can provide the names and numbers of many guys from all over the Midwest that are extremely happy with my breeding. I have dogs from 1 1/2 to 3 yr old. They are not "start" dogs, although they may eventually develop into that. If you are looking for young dogs that can run a coyote right with speed to catch these dogs will do it. I train all my dogs to "come" when called as we hunt in very heavy traffic. You will not find better handleing dogs. These are not rejected as i cull very close. It does not bother me to make a dog a perminate resident of the compost pile. I will not sell something that I wouldn't run in my outside pack. A couple of the older ones came straight from my hunting pack. I have not had a problem with deer but would never sell a hound as deer proof, I don't think the Good Lord ever made such a thing! The prices on the dogs will vary from $300 to $800 acording to experence. This may not be the best time for me to place an ad as I will be at Ohio Farm Science Receive next week, we have a display there and harvest will start in about 10 days and I run the combine. I will have more young dogs coming on in the future. Call me anytime 419.733.2077 Located in western Oh. I can show you the dogs running coyotes at your convenience.
