tri tronics

Post by Darvin Ecklund »

From my experience , the tri tronics trashbreaker G2 Exp or Classic 70 exp. Seem to hold a charge at least 2 days. I always put mine back on the charger after use so not sure how long they really last. Hope this helped.

No, I talked with tri tronics and they said the batteries are not the type with the memory in them. You may want to double check by calling tri tronics but I am sure that is what they told me. I have a unit myself.

if you are looking to buy a system PM Buddyw he sells them and knows alot about them he is the cheapest i have found for prices i bought the classic 70 exp off him the recivers will last for longet then 3 days that is as long as i have left mine without charging them and the indicator light had not changed to red yet wich means charge them an no they will not get a memory if you leave them on the cargers or put them on the chargers befor they are dead

I have the Classic 70 and have not charged it for as long as three weeks and it never lost the charge. Not saying it wasn't weaker but it still had a charge. The bookley says they can be left in the charger and they will not over charge. Something to keep in mind and this has been discussed befor, but is not widely known, is to charge your unit monthly. If the batteries go completly dead you can have problems with the transmitter communicating with the collar.

I use the G2 EXP, use them everyday for about two hours(let my dogs run free and use the beeper to bring them back) and i only charge them about once a month(when the lite turns amber or red) with the quick charger it only takes a couple of hours to charge up.
I carry a gun, because I am to young to die and to old to take a a$$ whoppin'
