I know this isn't a hound used by many in the U.S, but if you could train/find a good ridgeback they have amazing abillity! Can hot trail (which is what u want for yotes), have unmatched stamina, very fast sprinting (i believe the quickest scent hound), and devastatingly good fighter/killers if trained right ( almost any trained ridgeback would finish a yote by itself). They also make great pets.
Unfortunately many in the states have only been used as pets/ show dogs, however, i believe most if trained early on to be hunters have very good instincts.IMO
