spoke with 2 sdgfw officers today. both are all for the use of a persue only season and or pursue n harvest season.

just need some more south dakota resident honest houndsmen to step forward at commisioner meetings to voice opinions regaurding a mountain lion hound season.

i am going to start attending them myself. someone has to step forward to get the houndsmen in the door.

if anyone has anything to say. they have open mice to say what ever you feel.

this state officers have simply stated that no houndsmen have step forward regaurding a lion season. we are going to have to unite n fight for this.

Better check your facts before your start making accusations like that. Rosco,Brisco and Tim Hoeck have all attended meetings on the houndsmen of SDs behalf in the past on this matter. Heck I've even sent them a letter or two.

I get a kick out of posting things on here. It is gaurenteed someone will always have a smarta** comment. 2 years ago when I posted this I had just moved back after being gone for 12 years. I didnt know what the issues or seasons were.

I first asked about a hound club 2 guys laughed and said what hound club if you call a half a dozen guys meeting in the spring for a field trials.


Coming from a club of 30 + in another state with monthly meetings and hunts through the year. To find out there was no one here to really fight for a lion season.

One of the guys who told me some of these things is a guy who lies, uses people and acts like he knows everything. I have relized this over the last few years.

So my comment of Rosco and Tim not doing anything to help was wrong, but being new here was given FALSE info by a Newbee I have since relized.

So to end this I am sorry if I have hurt anyones feelings. No harm was ment, just got false info to start.
