MT or CO lion hunters

Might be a long shot but my buddy and i are looking for someone to hunt with in either MT or CO. We had our trip fall threw this year, our friend with the lion dogs had to cancel due to health issues. havent bought any tags yet so were open on the state, got a snowmobile and were ready to go anytime. Any help would be great thanks

the deadline to buy tags in Montana is the last day of August. Maybe next year.

Only for permit areas, all other areas you have to wait till the day after you buy a tag to start hunting

not sure if its the same for out of staters but you can buy it and its a five day wait before you hunt. you should just skip the cat tag, and come kill a wolf....

Montana, its five days from when you purchase the licence. For residents and nonresidents after Aug 31 for a non permit area. They can only be bought online and at a FWP office. I thought it was a day, sorry about that. Residents can buy a hound handlers premit, so I havent bought a kill tag in a few years.
