already used to it just laugh as i am headed out to the canyons and rocks where most of these guys dont have the balls to run. Just wish for the cats sake that they would leave the area alone for couple years till population was back up. Dont own the hills and fish cops are a joke so just trying to get a point across.

yes I know what you mean, I had some friends go and look for tracks at 11 pm so nobody would get the jump on them and still had someone dump on the same track when they could hear their dogs running it.
I used to start looking for tracks at 2 am now I give up on trying to beat everyone else, so I go lower where no one else looks, and just go at daylight.

yep it normally turns to a fight out there cause some one dumps on your track or try to intersect track ahead of you. I call it combat hunting

I recall a post from last year about marking your track. You should lay a glove on the track to claim it if that doesn't work leave 2 gloves, if that doesn't work leave a pair of boots I prefer 12 wides. If that doesn't work dump a bunch of sawdust or straw from your dog box. Lol...

Same anywhere. There are goes that kill every cat that goes in the tree. Now with wolf populations going through the roof... deer and elk numbers in the toilet, cats will all but be eliminated for the "sake of deer" and I will be forced to give up dogs or go to Idaho to run bears. I am tired of seeing pics of 60 lb females with captions "125 lb lion" and 120 lb toms with captions that read "160 lb monster", I think I am gonna blow a gasket. To quote Keishawn, "COME ON MAN!!!" Leave a cat in the tree to run another day.
I had one guy tell me there were 5 cats in the one area and that is why he killed the cat they treed. Well for gods sake you just shot a 50-60 lb juvie, I am guessing mom might appreciate you taking away the mouth to feed.
