410 slug for lion?????

hey everyone i found a pretty cool little survial gun. its a m6 22lr 410. and was thinkin bout using it for hunting since it would fold up right in my back. so my question is do ya think if i loaded it with 410 slugs that it would be enough to bring down a lion. thanks for the help.

If it's accurate enough it would work, it's a 41 cal.

Not a very good choice but it will work. Unless you can't afford or borrow another gun stay low in ther lungs and tie your dogs back. It is no powerhouse and although it does have some diameter you get no real expansion and not enough velocity for tremondous hydrostatic shock. You can kill a lion with a big enough rock if you are good but better yet to use a sensible weapon the harvest a fine big game animal.

If you choose a shotgun the fine Nosler sabot loads in the larger gauges are most terminal on all big game species and can be very accurate. Just ask Jim Shockey! LOL!
