Night hunting for lions
Arizona has made night hunting with artificial light, legal for lion in big horn sheep units. Light can be handheld or mounted on the gun. Shotguns are legal for taking lions also. They also have multiple tag units in these areas. Good idea or not?

Sounds dangerous, stumbleing around in the dark on those steep hills and ledges 
Even with lights better watch your footing.
As for a good idea I don't need a lion that bad. But guess they are hitting those expensive sheep hard... Game and fish has spent alot of money trying to increase the big horn sheep population. With the population so low it only takes a few lions killing one a week to realy make a dent.
My take is its better than paying government trappers and hunters to kill the lions. Those areas are hard to hunt with the terrain, so its not a first choice for most people and maybe this will get more people in there.

Don't think it would be that fun. The dogs treed 2 lions this weekend and one was an all day ordeal. Didn't get to the tree till 9:30 at night. Wasn't fun in the cliffs at night with flashlights.
