bear hunting
bear hunting
Did anyone else have as bad of a fall bear hunt as me? It didnt seem like there were as many bears this year as there have been in previous years.

Re: bear hunting
I had a very good fall season. Had a couple slow days but the majority of the time we ended up treeing at least 1 a day.
I do need to find a vet around here that doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

Re: bear hunting
I had very good luck this fall. Treed or bayed 16 bears in 14 outings. Was the problem that you couldn't find bears to come to a bait or find some to rig? I caught all mine rigging, but the baiters told me they couldn't keep the bears off the baits.
Re: bear hunting
we bate and strike, there just wasnt as many, it also sees like they ran alot further.
