UPDATED: OR 7 Wolf enters Shasta County
It would appear that the wolf OR 7 has now passed through Siskiyou county and is in Shasta.

I cant belive its made it this far. I wish some ranchers would just find the dang thing after his calves and take care of it. Now all these dumb ass tree huggers in our state are going to make a martyr out of it and use his as a calling to get more of them things here.

Sorry to hear about the wolves entering California. Enjoy the hunting while you can, because when the wolves spread everywhere is sucks and it doesn't take that long.
Then it takes years before people finally relize that they are killing all of the wildlife.

Not in this state. They will never relize a thing, even after all the deer, elk and pets are gone and the wolves start eatting their kids they will still think how great they are and be happy to see them. When they come out of their solar powered homes to climb in to thier prius's and see a wolf running off with the 5 yr old nextdoor they will say "awwwww look at the majestic wolf". You know if it wasnt for all the dumb ass tree huggers and HSUS loving DFG this state wouldnt be so bad.
Sorry had to vent a little just got done reading the latest news about OR7 (vulture bait) as I like to call him and the idiotic post that people put at the bottom of the page.

Re: UPDATED: OR 7 Wolf enters Shasta County
I didnt think of it at first, but doesn't it stike anyone odd at the distance this animal has traveled. If any one has traped animals and relocated them they would understand that an animal either dies from not understanding its new food sources or starts working its way back to where it came from. I know that young males get kicked out of there home range after a while but usually dont travel far. If I understand right this dog started at the top of oregon and is down to shasta county now. To me that just doesnt make sence. Why in the world would a single animal travel that far. to me there is something not right about this situation.

Thanks to all the liberal bias reporting people do not know the damage these animals cause. We need to start spreading the word on every media we can to show with true statisics of what these cute furry little killers can do.

Re: UPDATED: OR 7 Wolf enters Shasta County
The only thing we will have on our side in this state is the fact that we don't have the big rocky mountain elk herds here for them to eat, California never historically had as large of a wolf population as the states with more large ungulate populations had.
Also helps that CADFG and other individuals/agencies have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars bringing Tule elk, California, Sierra, Nelson's and Peninsular Bighorn back from the brink of extinction they have also spent a lot of money on the pronghorn and Roosevelt elk programs as well. So one would HOPE that they would not like to see their pet projects go up in smoke....errr...wolf shit.
If they will hire people to kill the lions off the sheep in this state and take the heat for it you would think they would be concerned about the wolves too??? But I guess we will have to wait and see what their 'Wolf Management Plan' consists of.
What we absolutely can't let happen is for somone to put wolf hunting on the ballot like they did lion hunting and take the power away from CADFG...I'm sure the animal rightists are 3 steps ahead of CADFG on that program.
Also I would be highly suspicious of any sudden move to start releasing more rocky mountain elk into any areas of northern California...while I'd like to think they want to protect what they have spent all that money on (that comes from our licenses and tax money) I'm just suspicious enough to think they might also need something to feed the new 'pets' with if the wrong people are in charge down there...guess we'll have to wait and see.
Also wolves will travel crazy distances (a wolf collared in Wisconsin was killed by a car in southern Iowa) but I'm not so sure that he is alone as much as he is the only one with a collar on.
