There is a man by the name of Jerry Ray that has been doing it for 50+ years. He is a member of Mary's Peak Hound club. He is between Salem and Corvallis. I hope that is the man you are talking about. Let me know if you need more info.

Hi Nora and Tim; We won't be able to make the State trial. Will be in Idaho to fill Arlene's bear tag and work on our new digs. Will have a dandy litter of pups out of our new Walker female and Jerry's Ernie dog itf you want to really start catching stuff HA! Come see us. Arlene is doing great. G.

Who's the field marshal and what are the payouts? Is this an open event? What days are the event and what time do they start?

Field Marshal will be Wes York and Ken Craddock

70% Pay out. split 1st/1st, 2nd/2nd
Tree Ist, 2nd. 3rd

Saturday 7am Field trial, Treeing, Puppy Race, Bear race

Sunday. Some money races ( if it is not to hot) and another bear race.
This is an open event, all dogs welcome.

I will be coming I am just getting in to hounds. I am interested to how people handle and train their dogs. I am vary excited about attending I will be bringing my Black Mouth Cur pup and my patterdale terriers to see what people think about them.
