wolves to Colorado

Post by Terry L. Zink »

Well the Federal goverment is now wanting to introduce canadian grey wolves into colorado. We cannot let this happen, the Obamo adminstration and anti-hunting groups are simiply wanting to remove hunting everwhere by using the the wolves. This is a pattern, if you look at a map of where these wolves are now being proposed it should wake you up. This is the way the liberials can take man off the to...p of the food chain and replace him the wolf and get rid of hunting and if there is no hunting and than they will come for our guns. This is the start of The Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative. Please people write your senators and representives and put a stop to this introduction of wolves to colorado before it begins, it hasn't worked here in Montana, Idaho and wyoming or Upper-midwest. We need to repeat this everyday. We're already up sh!@ creek without a paddle until we get rid of the scurve in Washington.

One of the few good things I found in the article-

Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead and U.S. Secretary of Interior Ken Salazar reached an agreement last year on a plan that would turn wolf management over to the state. The plan, which has drawn criticism from environmentalists, would classify wolves as predators that could be shot on sight in most of the state

The best thing that I read for this State is the last paragraph: They already tried it in Rocky Mtn. Nat. Park and they declined to do it. They are using sharpshooters instead.

Isn't the key word here Canadian Grey Wolves ? That is not what was native to the land was it ? Where is the impact study on placing them there? And has it been compared to what is going on in the States that they have already placed them ? Where is all the BIG money at that should be fighting it like the NRA, The Cattleman's Assoc. ,and the company's that make money off of us, Like the gun makers the big stores that sell us the guns, ammo and so on ?????? ALL THE STATES ARE CRYING NO MONEY TO HELP THE PEOPLE BUT THEY WASTE IT ON THE WOLVES?????

Jeff
That exact question is what the people of Colorado or the US need to ask their govenor.
I am sure the USF&WS and the state would never consider letting a rancher introduce Aoudad or Barbury Sheep onto his private ranch that lays smack in the heart of Desert BigHorn Sheep range...??
Maybe the USF&WS and the state needs to be challanged by a rancher doing this and see what becomes of it?

But then it's a dificult thing these days to find someone in the government with any commen sence or a reperesentitive willing to stick their neck out that may cost them votes in future elections!!!
