Caught this little tomcat today. Started the track at 10:30 or so. The dogs cold trailed it trough a bunch of shale and bare ground before they finally got high enough to get into the snow. Once the hit the snow the pace picked up quite a bit. They trailed it for 12 miles according to the pedometer on the phone. He was a real jumpy cat, jumped three or four times, seems all them little ones I catch are though. It was a great day. got all the dogs back and none of them got hurt too bad.

I've caught four since the first snow in October two on the bare ground and two in the snow. Conditions have been horrible around here.
