Spoils of Tred Bartas lynx show.

Post by chilcotin hillbilly »

Here are a couple pictures from the past week.
Caught lion which we couldn't get Tred to, but filmed it for the show.

Had a luck filled week with a couple of wolves in traps for the show, a real bonus!!
And finished the show with a nice tom lynx that Tred shot with his handmade arrow.

Brent,

Sounds like you have some stories of your own of Tred Barta.
Doug knocked this one out of the ball park! Dogs worked well and slam dunked the lynx. Should be another incredable show. Killing those wolves was the icing on the cake, What an honor to skin a huge wolf!!!! Doug needs to take out another few hundred and maybe B.C. will have a fightng chance to save the balance of the ungulates. Unless you have hunted in heavy wolf country you have no idea just how devistating they are, I see kyle lay won his case and is going to be able to get back after the wolves. C.O'S need to check hunting and fishing license and leave predator control to the pros.

Mike
Tred tryed till he gave up hoping to get me to hold a recurve bow the proper way!!!!
I first met him when he jumped out of the back seat of the Super Cub looking like Rambo and I thought to myself ....whos this guy!!!!
He says it like it is and I do have a few good stories...

Nothin like puttin a wolf hide on a stretcher is there...makes a guy feel good to know there's one less hound killed in the woods.
Looks like Doug has things figured with them....
Did not hear about Kyle, I am headed over that way in a week to do a couple lion hunts hope to look Dan up and talk to him about his wolf traps.
Glad you had a good time with those guys...bet you have a couple stories of your own?
