blood hounds

anyone out their ever cross blood hounds into their hounds to try and get a real cold nosed dog.

they call them majestics now and there are breeders who have already found the hunting stock blood hounds to cross to the big game hounds to try to get what you are after. i bought a pup he is 5/8 bloodhound 3/8 biggame hound he is registerd nkc as a majestic. 10 mo old very athletic very gamey. i think he will make a good dog. as for nose power i dont know what he has yet.but with that much blood hound in him i would think his nose should be what i am looking for. if he turns out i am going to breed him into my stuff. if you want to start with bloodhound to your stock it is very hard to find someone with hunting bloodhounds to breed too. but if you find the right bloodhound sire or dam i think it would add nose power to your current stock. anyway thats what i am trying now.

yea but them majestics are pretty high. i think they would make nice hound too. real big hounds to. thats what i like.
