Idaho desert cat

Post by beardogger »

Well we finally got some good snow in the right place, I have recently changed my hunting tactics and am hunting the desert and canyons I have found more consisent tracks and a whole lot less people on Wednesday 2-15-12 I caught a good size cat on a rock pile and my best cat dog wendy got tore up pretty good took over 100 stiches to sew her back together so ended up being short day. After the vet visit I was fired up to catch another and snow was still perfect so headed out Thursday 2-16-12 with the wife to show her first cat and it ended up pretty close and personal agian but no trip to vet at the end. On Thurs. I had only young dogs that had only seen the lion the day before so was super proud of my benny dog (2yr old red plott) who did all the cold trailin and my van johnson pup Rahdawg and jagd terrier Thug are only 10 months did good baying

Great pics. Those bayed lions get the young dogs fired up. We had a few like that last month and the pups loved it
