i know there is a couple of us from s. oregon that cross the border ( atleast used to until they made it where you have to have trapping llicenses to sell hides).on the n.e. side there are some really big cats that usually sale good, but can be extremely hard to catch do to the long distances traveled for food and deep snow keeps alot of them safe.

There is tons of great cat hunting all over Northern Cal. on both sides of the valley even down in the valley if you have the spots to run them. And tons of cat to run, I'm sure guys are putting up some amazing numbers this yr due to the lack of deep snow. If you want to check a new area get out there spend the time and the gas and find them, the best time I have found to check out a new area is right after a light snow hits.

Right now one is sh**ing on my all over 30-80 feet from my house found it's tracks right behind where i park my car!!! It's giving my dogs a complex in the middle of the night lol.
