I have owned a few dogs that I would have no problem letting loose on a wounded cougar for different reasons as well. :lol:

probably not a great idea if you have gritty dogs but a smart chickenshit is'nt going to get a scratch.

I would, because my dogs might actually be able to catch a wounded one...


Actually, if I wasn't directly responsible for wounding the animal, I wouldn't risk my dogs' lives and well being on someone elses mistake. People have been able to find wounded animals without dogs before and they will again. I only have two hounds so I can't do the "turn them loose in reverse order" thing. Plus, I personally wouldn't want to put my dogs in more danger than I already do. There is enough potential danger from a 300 pound bear or 160 pound lion when they are not wounded.
