California's last weekend. how'd ya do?

well coon seasons over how'd everyone do this last weekend if you went out. it sure was windy where I was but I had a good fun weekend.

I thought it was over too soon! Since winter started so late...wish we still had another month left. Been treeing a lot in windy conditions, the pups ( 1 year and 1.5 years) really started to turn on near the end of the season.

Way too soon! Same with my pups seven months each. And I was still having a hard time just finding a place to hunt. it was really windy where we hunted this weekend we treed one a hundred and twenty yards or so across the river lol I watched ti run right up a tree. is bear river ca near auburn

I was having a hard time finding places that weren't thick with deer! My pups were doing real good about not running deer, but would give chase if they spooked a deer...and the deer seemed to be really thick close to the end of the season. Wasn't fair to them...but that's how they learn I guess.
Bear River is maybe 4-5 hours north of Auburn. 1 hour from Eureka.
