Re: Would like some info on Az hunting
I live 45 minutes south in cottonwood AZ. And hunt a lot and am always looking for some one to hunt with, mostly lion there are a lot of them around here now days. If you want to go hunting PM me. That is the only problem I have around here is finding some one to hunt with.

for hound hunting there are alot of opportunities. As far as pretty much anything else good luck drawing a tag. Took me 10 years to draw an elk tag and 12 for an antelope. you can usually draw a deer tag every other year but depends on the unit you want to hunt. Nice area to live though.

You can hunt bear with hounds along with lion, bobcat, and raccoon. The hunting laws is what brough us here from Colorado so that should say something. I love Arizona and don't plan on leavin anytime soon. If my job here in Show Low wasn't so amazing I would move somewhere else, but stick in AZ for sure. Good luck
