New to the hounding world
New to the hounding world
I have been lurking around this sight for a while. I have never been on a hound hunt and don;t own any, but from reading all your stories am thinking I may have to get a couple to run bobs with. A little about me; I am from western KS and my wife moved me to Missouri in Jan. I hunt anything and everything I can afford to fit into my schedule. I have raised chocolate labs for pheasant and duck hunting for the last decade. I look forward to reading more of your stories and seeing the pics. Awesome site!

Re: New to the hounding world
Welcome aboard!
As they say, hound hunting isn't a hobby, it is a lifestyle......aaaaaaaand a huge money drain, haha.
Best bet is to find a local hound guy and tag along with him; be sure he isn't full of B.S.(as a hunter you should be able to tell real quick) but that is the best way to get a feel for the game.
Hope you join into the sport, we always need more!
