wildlife 1000 question

I just got a wildlife 1000 tracking box on a trade everything works great just confused because i cant tell if its charging when i plug it into the wall theres no light or anything letting me know, any help guys?? hahaha

Turn it on. Are you getting static through the speaker, if so, its charging.
