I have something to add. In Pocatello my wife and I were getting married and looking for our first apartment. We looked at all sort of dumpy crappy place's, we wanted to live away from campose so not to have to put up with drunken collage kids....... We found a nice well taken care of complex that couldn't have been more the 5 years old. We parked in the lot and called the number on the sign. A ladie answered and I told her we would like to rent. She asked what kind of aid we would be subsidized by, I said none we would pay our own rent. She told me I was not eligable to rent there. I asked why she said it was goverment funded housing...... We could not live there and not be on a program, but if we wanted she could give us a number so we could call and see if we were eligable. I asked, so you will rent to dead beats without a job who only get rent money from the gov. but you won't rent to me because I went to collage got a job and earn an honest living? she hung up. I have never forgot that moment, I had a summer job since I was 8, wored 2 part time jobs through 1 yr of school and fulltime night shift the 2nd, and have worked ever since. And now I and all of us have become the bad guys....... AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP!!! PUT ON THERE BIG BOY PANTS AND GOTO WORK!!!

Lance, certainly another example of how bass ackwards the politicians/government are running this counrty.... right into bankrupcy by spending tax payer and borrowed money to buy votes Thanks for sharing your experience.

Big & Blue, your welcome. I wasn't sure if I was stepping over the line by posting this in the humor thread, but the 'jokes' on us if we don't step up to plate and atleast get people thinking about whats been happening to our country by the ultimate 'jokers' in washington. Its time to right the ship, or were all going to be sunk in a sea of more taxes, less rights/freedoms and socialism.
