Once Crazy and Intense Lion Chase; Video

well put Jason. Wished I'd a been in on this one.
Re: Once Crazy and Intense Lion Chase; Video
Maybe the way I replied was misunderstood or interpreted differently than I intended. I don't mean to take any credit away from the houndsman, the others involved, the dogs or anything about the situation. Its obvious it took great dogs and dedicated men to get to the point in which the video was taken. I understand all the downfalls and obstacles that can happen. Everyone running dogs end up facing those things. I was not there, and in all likelihood everything that happened that day was legal and ethical. Plenty of situations occur as to where people get split up and scattered during a race. Probably where I was misunderstood was the fact that I came across as saying that I knew these guys did everything wrong and illegal. I do not assume that. Simply I would like for fellow houndsmen to be aware of where these videos end up on the internet and would like for them to show us in a positive light. Unfortunately it does happen quite regular that cats are caught and held for sometimes days for a hunter to come in to harvest. It's a battle that we as sportsmen who are in this for the right reasons face. I only intended to be understood that I would like to see things that, to the general public show us in a positive manner. We face many uphill battles to keep hounding alive.
Maybe I'm the pain in the ass on here because I chose to say something rather than stay quiet like I would normally do and others do. I didn't want to seem critical of the situation or the the guys involved. Just of the video and perception it will give to those who view it.

And maybe if someone did not post this on the inernet it would not be an issue. Not everything needs to be posted, take your video and your pictures and keep them to show your kids and your grandkids. Sometimes this stuff is better left off the internet. We all know houndsmen are bad asses it just seems some need stroking all the time.
