Be sure to tune in to CARNIVORE this week as we will be at last year's Autumn Oaks. I will visit with good friends, John Wick, Mark Zepp and long time friend, Robert Hittson who has shown more champion blueticks than anyone I know.
We will be hunting around Menard County and then hunt the Trans Pecos with hunting buddy, Hugh Childress.
Carnivore airs at 11:30 PM EST on Tues., 1:30 PM EST on Sat. and 7:00 EST on Sun. on the PURSUIT CHANNEL. I hope you enjoy it.
Adios,
Gary

Gary,
Great Show, the footage of the Kids Showing the Hounds was priceless!
There was a snagle tooth little Girl in a pink shirt holding a trophy with a smile wider than the Mississippi River. There was a little boy, a small kid showing a Large Hound and doing a nice job of setting him up…wow that’s what it aught to be about.
I hope you will have more of Mr. Wick in the future.
Mr. Hittson’s record is astonishing.
West Texas and Mr. Childress are both amazing…I am glad that was yall….that is rough country and I am way to soft for that terrain. It took tough Hounds and Hunters to do what you all were doing.
You all can keep the Jumping Pear and Rattlesnakes!
Keep these good Shows coming!

Thanks Partner! I thought the show turned out well and showed hound hunting in a good light which I feel is so important. For years, much of the hunting public has looked down their noses at the houndsman, sometimes deserved but most times not. All hunters must unite and defend each others right to hunt as we desire if we are going to continue to enjoy this great sport. It is paramount that we act in a professional manner in all that we do...you never know who is watching.
Yes, the footage of the kids with dogs is priceless. Robert Hittson is 86 years old and has been a tremendous ambassador for the coonhound world. He is a retired Superintendent of Schools from San Antonio. When I asked Robert if that was his last Autum Oaks, he actually "teared up"; it is rare to get such an honest response. We were fortunate to get John Wick and Mark Zepp on the show, if just for a short time. They are good friends and just good folks.
Adios,
Gary

Thanks to UKC for allowing us to shot video at the event. And thanks to all my good houndsmen friends across the USA and Mexico. I hope to show more hound hunting and I promise to do my best to present in a professional manner.
Hunting is my life and I want to do what I can to see our great heritage preserved for the next generation.
Adios,
Gary
