muskrats
can you put a colony trap for muskrats right on top of their house and is there anything else to trap muskrats with when the water freezes besides conibear traps
If it has fur I chase it.

you can put a leg hold on the shelf inside the house but make sure you plug the hole you cut into the house or the open water inside the house will freeze which will kill the rats. Also check your game regs for your state to make sure you can disturb a rat house. Plug the hole with water ever you cut out and just to make sure and be careful when you cut it.
