Dale, I agree Sam does a great job up at the capitol fighting all the B.S. bills and legislature that goes through there concerning our rights. definitely a good place to send a donation.
I would very much like to see the list of politicians he has accumulated to be supportive to sportsmen and gun owners.

Sam is all over this and working on the govenor, my wife Cindy and I met with him yesterday at the Capital, if you go to the web site you can pull up "Voter guide Jun 5, 2012" they have all the 2012 California Primary Election Candidate Ratings

We have called the Governor's office everyday and they are telling us they are getting a lot of calls from both side's if this gets signed ALL OF US WILL LOSE NOT JUST THE HOUNDSMEN FROM CALIFONIA!Call for your self, and have your wife/husband/children/aunts/uncles/moms/dads/neighbors/friend/enemies/WHO EVERY you can think of and it does not matter what state/country/planet you are from just please call an let them know how much money you spend while hunting in California, write or fax the Governors office and ask him not to sign this bill

Also tell them that if Governor Brown supports California's Sportsman
and VETOS or let's SB 1221 die, you will support him and vote Yes on Prop 30 which he is staking his whole career on. Also tell them that you will NOT HUNT IN CA again and take your Business to another state where they will gladly take your money!!
We need to hammer those points home as well.
Even if you don't plan on voting Yes, Lie!!! it's not like they haven't lied to us before.

CAN WE JAM THIS BILL UP IN COURT, OR START LAWSUITS, LIKE THEY DO ALL THE TIME.? START SPENDING OUR MONEY THAT WE WERE GOING TO USE FOR THE HUNTING SEASON AND HIRE AWSOME LAWYERS? JUST A THOUGHT. IF THEY WANT US TO KEEP THE MONEY IN CALIFORNIAS ECONOMY, LET'S GIVE IT TO EM. :mrgreen:

"Today, the Idaho House of Representatives voted 63 to 4 to pass House Joint Resolution 2a, a much-needed constitutional amendment that would provide meaningful protections against anti-hunting activists who seek to ban all hunting in America. HJR 2a will now go to the Senate where it must receive a two-thirds majority before going on the ballot.

The NRA has been working with state House and Senate leadership to produce a robust constitutional amendment. Thanks to their efforts, HJR 2a contains most of the core tenets of the NRA’s model Right to Hunt language that have been developed over recent years.

For instance, HJR 2a, introduced by the House Ways and Means Committee, would guarantee the rights of Idahoans to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife “by the use of traditional methods.” This would eliminate any opportunities for well-funded animal rights activists to ban the use of certain methods like archery, tackle or dogs for hunting. In other jurisdictions, these radical groups have sought to ban these “cruel” and “unsporting” methods, and HJR 2a will help to ensure they do not succeed in Idaho.

This provision would ensure that sportsmen will continue to be used as the state’s responsible game managers instead of the taxpayer-funded sharpshooters and unproven, expensive wildlife contraception schemes employed in other jurisdictions."

Get it in to California Gun owners and to COHA it all sounds good BUT it would have to go though the same RAT BASTARD law makers that we have been working with at the Capital.

We need to figure out how to keep the law makers from making game and environmental laws based on FEELINGS, instead real facts, from bioligist and people who know what there talking about. Theres no reason we should be made criminals because a group of people don't like a type of hunting or hobby. There are plent of things that we don't like that they continue to do, maybe we could introduce laws that affect them.

Maybe we need one nation wide orginazation, instead so many individual organzations. Like an outdoor orginization, all under one group wether you like to hunt, fish, hike, camp, own guns, bike, quad ride, explore, gold prospect, anything outdoors, that way we will never be devided . You take on one hobby you take us all on. It's about time we come together and quit allowing them to divide us. Just thinking?
