garmin ?

Post by mountain top »

I'm sure this has been beat to death but...I'm finally gonna bite the bullet and get my first gps tracker. Should I get the 320 bundle with dc 40's or the 320 and get dc 30's? Is the 320 that much better than the 220? Cause I can get the 220 for about $270 new.
thanks

get the 320 ive used them both and like the 320 alot more and the satelite image is amazing. as for the collars i like them both but i would get the 40's and set the pin lock on them. ive seen some interference problems when hunting on public ground and had ID numbers changed on collars by other hunters. im not sure how it happens but putting the pin lock on seemed to have solved that problem.

I had the 320 with dc 40 collars and had some problems with tracking when i was running more than one dog. Sold every thing and went to the alpha and dont see my self going back but its still early. I love that as long as i can track them i can shock them. This comes in extremely help full hunting around private property or if for some reason there headed towards a major road.
